One of the reasons why I like the fasting months is because I get to wake up in the early morning and eat. And secara tak langsung, dapat pahala sekali. Bagus kan. Memang bagus. Tapi yang tak bagusnya, ialah manusia-manusia yang kononnya nak memberi perkhidmatan menjual makanan time-time sahur ni. Sebab aku rasa, ada setengah nak berniaga tu, niat diorang bukan kerana Allah, tapi mungkin pasai nak beraya sakan. Why am I saying all this?
Tengok gambar nasik dengan ikan sardin kat atas tu. Aku rasa la kan, kalau ikut price kat Penang (area Seberang to be exact, P44 to be lagi tepat), nasik ngan ikan sardin habih kuat pun RM1.50 ja kot. The max, RM2.00, tu pun aku dah rasa melampau. But nasik aku ngan ikan sardin yang aku beli pagi tadi was....
RM2.50!!!!!!
Am I making a big deal out of this?? You see, aku saja nak test makcik tu. Because the other day, aku dah kena dah sekali. Aku amik nasik, hotdog goreng satu/sebatang/seketul (goreng pun sikit ja kot, tak nampak hangit apa pun), ngan ikan masin dua ketul. Again, guess how much.....
RM3.00!!!!!!
So, bila aku beli nasik ngan ikan sardin tu, I said to my self "that's it, aku nak amik gambaq of this 'imported' ikan sardin". Doesn't make sense la. Nak kata aku beli nasik tu kat food court JUSCO, tak gak. Makcik tu berniaga kat tempat letak motor ja pun. Bumbung dah free. Sewa tapak tak kena. Kena bayar duit lesen berniaga kat MPSP... tak jugak. Sebab makcik tu berniaga pagi-pagi, MPSP mana yang nak pi buat spot check pepagi buta.
It's a good lesson to me too. Since aku pun berniaga. Aku tak la rasa tertipu sangat, but aku kesian kat budak-budak ITM yang dok kat area rumah aku nie. Student nie mana lah nak ada duit sangat. Yang dok kerja pun tadak duit, ni kan yang dok belajar lagi. But they don't have a choice. Mau tak mau, beli ja. Kalau takmau, masak sendiri. Larat ka student nak masak every morning??
Ikutkan hati aku, mau aku nak pi turun balik kat makcik tu, amik gambar lokasi tapak berniaga dia sekeping dua, post dalam entry nie. Tapi, takyahla kan. Rasa cam aku sekat rezeki diorang lak nanti. Takpalah makcik. Saya beli.
Sapa lagi yang rasa macam kena tipu di bulan Ramadhan nie? Sila post comment kat bawah tu. At least nanti boleh orang lain elak.

THE AMAZING RACE ASIA 3

I just love this reality show. The Amazing Race Asia 3 started last week. And I think when the tag is "The Toughest Race Ever", they do really mean it. Imagine, they just picked up the backpack, dah kena telan fried scorpions. Urghh. For USD100,000.00, maybe aku pun akan telan.
This week, tak la susah mana sangat the challenges. Just that there are a number of drama queens on the show. Sorang takleh tidoq kat airport, yang sorang lagi dok guna wisel. Seriously, kalau ada leg kat Malaysia, and dia dok mai tiup wisel tu, memang nak mampoih la. However, although aku dah meluat tgk dia, I like his partner.  Cantik.
Choosing the right partner is key in this game. So, the best, jangan la pilih pompuan to be ur partner. Sorry girls. For me, if aku masuk this race, my ideal partner would be..... Arif.  Aku pun taktau why Arif, but he is the first person that pops into my mind when I ask myself with who aku nanti race if I join the show.
Who will you choose to be your partner?
So, let's go thru the teams. Kita start dengan the Malaysian contigent lah.
Henry & Bernie
Urm, my verdict, they have a big chance of winning the race. So far so good for them. Both tak mengada, just that aku got turned off bila Bernie Chan menangis macam budak2 during the charity challenge in the 2 leg which they end of finishing 1st. And history shows that the Malaysian team finishes in the top 3 for the last 2 races. GO MALAYSIA.
Ida & Tania
Boleh menang gak kot, because they seem to be enjoying the race and so far, tak nampak any tensions and stresses between them. Just stop with the chicken dance. Again, GO MALAYSIA.
AD & Fuzzie
Aku nampak depa nie macam underdogs. Don't underestimate them. They seem to finish the legs without any stresses. Their main weakness is fatigues. And the best team about this team is, they are cool with each other and they don't push each other to finish the race. Bagus, all the best. Hope you guys will win the race.
Geoff & Tisha
Mamat nie memang nak kena penendang dengan aku. Sib baik dia tak mai Malaysia tanya taxi driver sambil dok tiup2 wisel dia. Gila meluat aku tgk dia. He is lucky that his partner is a really sweet person. Walaupun Tisha kena pushed a number of times, she tak melenting balik. Bagus-bagus. I just wish that if this team loses, it is because of him. Take the whistle and shove it up ur a#%.
Mai & Oliver
Salah sorang drama queen in this TARA. I didn't watch the starting of episode 2 because yang aku ingat at the end of the 1st episode, the bitch wants to quit the show, after winning the 1st leg. Isn't that stupid. And Ho Chin Minh is not in China la. Aiiyooooo. Nasib baik tak beli flight ticket pi China. Kalau tak buta ja, the whole Asia know ur stupidity. Takpalah, tak salah dia la dia taktau. This is what I mean by choosing the right partner.
Natalie & Pailin
Another drama queen. Tidoq kat airport pun tak boleh. Suruh tidoq dalam reban ayam baru tau. AXN terpaksa pilih depa maybe to increase the number of viewers. So, aku tak rasa they can win. Once you have the mengada factor, habih lah.
Neena & Amit
By the time aku dok menaip nie semua, depa dah out dah pun last week. Tapi aku meluat gak la tgk neena nie dok push driver suruh bawak laju.
Niroo & Kapil
The son really needs to be patient with his dad. Jangan dok push sangat. Satgi tak pasai ada kematian on the show. He should use the participant in the Amazing Race ke berapa ntah, yang Grandson-Grandfather team, as an example. They managed to finish 2nd or 3rd kot.
Sam & Vince
Another winning prospect team. Aku nampak depa boleh menang maybe pasai its an all male team. Senang. Let's see how they do in the next legs. All the best.
William & Isaac
I tought they can go further, tapi sayang they lost in the 2nd leg. So, teori aku on all male team cannot be used 100%. Strategy and luck plays a bit part too.

SLAMAT ARIII JADIIII...

Last Saturday, elok aku start ja enjin keta, telepon aku yang teramat jarang berbunyi, tetiba berbunyi dan keluar nama Din. Bila jawab, dia ajak aku lepak sekali, ada gathering kat McD Seberang Jaya. Memula malas nak pi, sebab time tu aku ada kat Penang (dah 2 minggu puasa, hari tu baru 1st time aku bukak posa dengan family aku minus my sister).
Selang seminit, aku dapat sms pulak dari Cikgu Pnut. Rupanya hari ni birthday Mr. Din. So, since birthday nya pasai, aku pun balik umah tukar baju, capai camera, dan terus menuju ke McD Seberang Jaya. So, happy birthday. TQ belanja makan. Rasa cam dah lama tak makan Fillet-O-Fish.
Habih lepak-lepak, aku drive balik Penang pulak. Ataih bridge, expect the unexpected...
Arrgghhh. Happy Birthday Mr. Din.

BANDAR PERDA DI MATA MALAYSIA

Aku rasa hari ni tiga suku rakyat Pulau Pinang ada kat Bandar Perda. Pasai pa, pasai Jusco dah bukak.

Kezen aku dari Penang pun sanggup drive from island semata mata nak pi Jusco Perda pasai ada Big Apple Donuts. Gosh, sampai camtu skali.
And for the first time, Bandar Perda jammed teruk. Paling teruk jam kat Bandar Perda tu pun time-time lepas sembahyang Jumaat. Tu pun sekejap je la. Today, woohooowww.... gila gilarah. Bila masuk dalam Jusco tu pun, dah rasa macam kat KLCC.
I wonder how The Summit, Megamall and Sunway Carnivall are doing today?? 
Btw, esok Posa. Selamat menjalankan ibadah puasa.

As a United fan, I would love to see Cristiano Ronaldo play next season. But, since he WANTED to move to so called the GREAT Real Madrid, just LET HIM GO!!!!.
What is the point of keeping a player when his heart is no longer there?
To Cristiano Ronaldo, go luck playing at Real Madrid. May you continue to be one of the best player in the world (since that is what ur aiming for).

ANOTHER THE DAY

Approximately 3 hours till kick off at Luzhniki Stadium, Moscow for the Champions League Final 2008 between THE MIGHTY RED DEVILS & Chelsea.
I can still vividly remember the day when UNITED last won the Champions League in 1999. Ridhuan, Arif, Muhaimin... who else? I think that was it. Am was asleep eventhough he was the host on that eventful day, but his brother Syadli did well to ensure everybody was comfortable. There was like 10 other of Syadli's buds that night and there was 2 Bayern fans, if I'm not mistaken. Gosh, it was like a nightmare when UNITED was trailing by a goal, and the goal came in just after we arrived in front of the TV.
It was nerve wrecking I should say. The post and the upright saved us twice. But it all changed in injury time of the second half... and the rest is history. Teddy and Ole saved the day. Some might say that UNITED were lucky. Yeah, they were, but their determination made them the winners that night.
Lets hope tonight will be UNITED's night. And may the best team wins. I'm pretty sure I'll receive a lot of comments if we lose. But hey, somebody has to go home as a loser.

THE DAY

It's the day when screaming/shouting/yelling/cheering will come to an end for all the Barclays Premier League fans out there. And for the UNITED faithfuls, winning today against Wigan is the only result they want to see (that includes me, of course). But right now, with only less than 15 hours before kick-off, I'm just having a bad feeling about this season.
Somehow, this is how the score is going to be.

Ladies and gentlemen,
WE HAD A BLAST!!!
To those yang tak dapat pi, takpa... we will organize things like this again.
From membakar ayam, membakar udang ala-ala Asian Food Channel (ASTRO CH703), bermain frisbee (tenggelam pehtu timbul balik sebanyak 4 kali  ), hinggalah kepada bermandi-mandi menentang ombak yang kuat lagi deras... semuanya best-best belaka.
I just want to thank all those yang datang. Really, without all of you, all those mentioned above won't be fun. And thank you to one particular individual for funding this activity.
And because of this event, Halim for once in his life... dapat merasa mandi laut. Tahniah Halim.
